Multi Residential A major player in the Canadian Long Term Care Facility arena were in the process of planning for a major renovation project on a number of long term care facilities throughout Ontario. As part of their overall property condition assessment and evaluation, they contracted Gratton Infrared Services to perform building condition assessments on eight properties using infrared technology. Using the latest in infrared technology and inspection equipment, Gratton Infrared inspected and thermally scanned the building envelopes and flat roofs at eight locations throughout Ontario to locate and identify any moisture intrusion, air infiltration and air ex-filtration areas. With the reports generated by Gratton Infrared, the necessary steps to correct and/or replace the identified suspect areas in order to save energy and costs associated with maintaining the buildings.
Property Management A large property management company was planning on replacing a number of roofs at various properties in the GTA. As part of their overall building condition assessment and evaluation, they commissioned Gratton Infrared Services to perform infrared roof moisture surveys on fourteen property locations through the GTA. The Gratton Infrared team inspected and thermally scanned flat roofs of fourteen locations to locate and identify any moisture intrusion areas in the roof. Benefit With the reports generated by Gratton Infrared, the client can start planning to correct and/or replace only the suspect areas instead of replacing the entire roof, saving thousands of dollars.
General Contractor A reputable Ontario General Contractor has a major client in the food services industry who was dealing with a large amount of water leakage at various locations throughout their 30,000+ square foot warehouse freezer in Eastern Ontario. The General Contractor retained Gratton Infrared to do an infrared inspection of the client’s freezer to help evaluate and identify the water leakage issue and pin point areas for correction. Benefit With the reports generated by Gratton Infrared, the client can now look at whether or not to replace the freezer roof or remediate the damaged areas in order to save energy and costs associated with operating the freezer.
